FlipFlop (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your choices regarding your data.

Information We Collect

• Photos and Notes: All images, notes, and metadata you create in FlipFlop are stored locally on your device. We do not access, collect, or transmit your content.
• Location & Time Data: If enabled, the App records timestamp and GPS coordinates to attach to your captures. These remain local on your device.
• AI Processing (Optional): If you choose to enable AI transcription or description, FlipFlop will send selected images to OpenAI’s API using an API key that you provide. No data is sent to FlipFlop or its developers.

How We Use Information

• To organize your field documentation within the App.
• To provide AI transcription/description only when you explicitly request it.
• To generate professional exports (CSV, JPEG with metadata) that you control.

We do not:

• Collect personal information for analytics or advertising.
• Share, sell, or rent your information to third parties.
• Track you across other apps or websites.
